If you finally have decided to switch to LED lights from bulbs to save money on all those electrical bills
that never seems to reduce in those numbers. Let’s take a look at why and how you can start and how
to finally make the switch to LED lighting.
LED lighting uses less energy
One of the primary reasons you should switch to an LED light is because it uses 90% less energy than an
equivalent incandescent or halogen bulb. If you have a 50w bulb, you will be able to replace it with a 5w
LED bulb and get the same amount of lighting. This is due to enormous amount of heat that is produced
when electricity passes through a traditional bulb whereas in an LED far less energy is wasted.
LED bulbs last much much longer
If you have halogen spotlights in your home then you are familiar with how much hassle it is to replace it
all the time as they blow on a pretty regular basis. The LED bulbs lasts approximately 20 times longer
than that.
The LED bulbs has an endless choice of colours
You can get the nice warm light colour reminiscent of incandescent bulbs, but using LED lighting you can
get any colour on the colour temperature chart. LED lights emit this light with a constant colour as well
as temperature.
LED bulbs are faster
LED lights provide instant lighting. LED does not have any filament in them which needs to heat up first
which is why you get instant lighting because they use less energy to brighten up you space.
